Banana Split Cake {Guest Post for Tricia at The Domestic Fringe}
Hi guys!
I’m guesting posting for a sweet friend, Tricia or Fringe Girl over at The Domestic Fringe. Tricia loves Jesus, her family, and chocolate – in that order. She writes about the horrors of swimsuit shopping and how her son became a redneck gourmet, but also about the deeper things of faith and family. I met Tricia through my brother Michael and his blog CBC Portugal Missions and I’m so glad I did. She has been one of my best supporters and truly such a sweet and genuine person.
Follow me and this really fun Banana Split Cake over to The Domestic Fringe to check out her site and get the recipe. Also, let leave her a comment and let her know you were there? It would make her day and mine!

Hi! I'm Christy...and the girl behind this blog. My goal is to make original recipes of different foods that aren't difficult! Jump in and try something with me and let me know how it goes?

Awesome! Thank you.
So glad FringeGirl asked you to do that. Cakes aren’t my speciality, but maybe I can get Nina to make this one day. I would love to try some of your caramel if Mom could find a way to get it here.

This one really isn’t difficult. It’s a banana bread with whatever banana split flavors you want to add. I think you could do it but I know Nina could in her sleep. FringeGirl has become such a great supporter of my blog and I really enjoy her. I was happy when she asked me. Since the caramel sauce is liquid I don’t think she can take ti in a carry-on but she can in her luggage. It should be easy. She’s coming over in a bit and I’ll talk to her about it and see what we can do.
I love FringGirl….and I Love you! This sure turns the ordinary banana nut bread into a culinary delight!
. I might get creative…
Awe! I love you, too! Thanks! That’s the fun part. You can add what you like and leave out what you don’t. It’s an easy recipe to customize. Oh and the caramels are the best I’ve ever made. I’m going to make another batch tomorrow just like these for us to eat!
This cake looks amazing!!!

Insane cake. Insane. I am heading over to have a slice now.
Ha! Well I wish you lived close enough to do that!! Such a fun cake, too and so easy to put what you like in and leave out what you don’t!
And I would take you up on that! I saw your brother’s site – are you Portuguese?
